– 2-3rd April 2025, Excel, London – Stand No: S58 –
Highlight, the leading provider of SaaS cloud-based network observability, will showcase its Service Observability Platform at The Retail Technology Show. Highlight enables retailers to take greater control of their IT infrastructure across multiple locations and diverse technologies previewing the very latest AI monitoring capabilities.
With extensive experience in the retail sector, Highlight is trusted by 4 of the top 7 UK supermarket chains, supporting over 50,000 devices, and enabling network assurance across more than 5,000 petrol retail forecourts throughout EMEA. In addition, multiple global high-street brands rely on Highlight to assure networks that support over $15bn in revenues.
The next generation of AI monitoring
The AI-powered monitoring features being previewed by Highlight’s AI Labs is a machine learning algorithm that analyses historical traffic data on network circuits such as broadband connections. It will then project potential future network traffic loads enabling retailers to identify when the network is likely to reach capacity.
The AI-powered features will also detect unusual or anomalous step changes in network traffic and performance, distinct from regular growth and traffic fluctuation. These abrupt shifts can be difficult to spot without constant monitoring, but with AI-driven anomaly detection, such changes are quickly identified, helping retailers maintain network stability.
Part of an award-winning observability solution
The Highlight Service Observability Platform provides an award-winning unified view of different technologies from different vendors. By standardising network data, Highlight enhances support efficiency, enables in-depth analysis of network estates, and improves coordination with service providers and external vendors.
Peter Savereux, Head of Marketing at Highlight says, “We work with retail outlets across the globe and are delighted to be previewing new AI-powered features to streamline the management of their essential and high-value communications. By anticipating bandwidth shortages and identifying anomalous disruptions, retailers and their providers can ensure their networks never face IT issues unprepared.”
